Imitation French Toast
As good as the real thing!

2 eggs
1 dash cream
1 dash water
2 tsp splenda
1 dash cinnamon
1 1/2 oz pork rinds -- 45g

Beat together two eggs, a good solid dash of cream, an equal dash of
water,
a packet of Splenda,, dash of cinnamon.
Crumble up about half a 3-oz 45g bag of pork rinds and let them soak in
the
egg mixture until it's a very thick gloopy batter.
Fry pancake-style in butter, till browned on both sides.
Serve with Low carb syrup or butter mix. I have found if you heat up
the
low carb syrup with some butter it is realllllly good.

FRENCH TOAST
Ingredients:
1-1/2 oz. of Katiedid's Plain or Unsalted pork rinds
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 packets Splenda
 teaspoon cinnamon
 teaspoon nutmeg
 cup water
teaspoon egg nog extract or Vanilla [optional]
Crumble pork rinds up until they resemble bread crumbs (use your food
processor if you like - or put them in a Ziploc bag - air removed - and
roll
them with a rolling pin.) Set aside. Beat eggs well and then mix with
remaining ingredients and beat again. Add crushed pork rinds to the
egg/cream mixture and allow to sit for approximately 5 minutes. Mixture
will
thicken to a "gloppy" phase during this time.
Meanwhile, heat skillet or griddle with butter or oil, and when hot,
fry
pancake style until golden brown on both sides. Serve with your
favorite
low-carb maple syrup (DaVinci, Keto, Atkins, Howards, etc, etc.)
Less than 1 carb per serving.
It's important that the pork rinds be very well crushed - just one step
above dust. Also - remember to let it really get to its "gloppy" phase
and
don't rush it. Plus, make sure the skillet is hot before you start
adding
the mix - with just enough oil to moisten bottom of pan but not enough
to
fry chicken in.

Faux French Toast
1/2 of a 3 oz bag of unflavored pork rinds, crushed very fine
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 pkts Splenda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp egg nog extract or vanilla
Beat eggs well and then mix with the cream, splenda, cinnamon and
extract.
Combine thoroughly. Add the crushed pork rinds and mix in. LET SET
FOR AT
LEAST 5 MINUTES. What you will get will be a thickened "gloppy" phase.

Heat skillet or griddle with butter and when hot, fry pancake style
until
golden brown on both sides. Serve with butter and your favorite LC
syrup.

Or, add natural peanut butter and strawberry Davinci syrup for a great
combo!
